Costa Rica for Travel + Leisure

Travel + Leisure sent me to the majestic wonderland that is Costa Rica for a cover story naming the country as its destination of the year. The project took me from luxury and eco-friendly hotels in the jungle, the beach, and cloud forests in the mountains. I made friends with monkeys and frogs, forded rivers, rode horses, and swam off the coast in a magical trip.
