Etsy sent me to Xalapa, Mexico, to visit the workshop of designers Jesus Herrera and Gabe Brandon-Hanson, the duo behind the brands Vintage Jesus and Les Jesus. I photographed the two for Etsy’s winter marketing campaign. Their garments marry traditional and heritage Mexican production techniques with contemporary stylings, and the results are incredible works of design and craftsmanship.
